How to request deletion of your MyWorkara account and the data held in the MyWorkara ESS app, what gets removed, and what your employer must keep by law.
Send a request to privacy@myworkara.com from the email address you use to sign in to MyWorkara. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
State whether you want your entire account deleted, or only specific data (for example your attendance selfies or location history). Include your full name and the name of your employer so we can locate the right workspace.
We verify the request came from you and, because your records belong to your employer’s workspace, we notify your employer’s HR administrator. We complete verified deletions within 30 days and email you when it is done.
Admins can revoke a person’s access immediately from Users & Access in the web dashboard. That removes their ability to sign in while keeping the employment record your business is required to hold. To erase the underlying records as well, email us using the steps above and we will action it for your workspace.
Payslips, PF, ESI, TDS and professional-tax records are retained for up to 8 years where Indian law requires an employer to keep them. These are held by your employer, who is the data fiduciary.
Anything subject to an ongoing dispute, audit or legal proceeding is retained until that concludes.
Aggregate figures that cannot identify you (for example “12 employees checked in on 4 July”) may remain in reports.
You do not have to delete your whole account. You can ask us to remove specific items — for example your check-in selfie photographs or your stored location history — and keep your account active. Say what you want removed in your email and we will action just that.
